  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

12" (180g). Complete with the band's lyrics and album artwork by designer Mark Battle. ATC launches their newest album “DASH” on vinyl. Recording throughout the pandemic they met several delays and hardships, but the band continued collaborating, remotely at times, to bring the next chapter of ATC to its debut. On the new album you will hear the band together in Dimension Sound Studios with Boston producer/engineer Dan Cardinal (Darlingside, Henry Jamison, Josh Ritter, Ballroom Thieves) along with longtime ATC collaborators Seth Kasper and Adrian Aiello. The ambition was not to match up with past ATC albums, or to meet some expectation, in fact, ATC’s formulas were often set aside in an effort to search from within each member. However, if you have loved anything by ATC, the stories, charm, nostalgia, hooks, DASH will pull you in from the opening line “It was chapter one...”, and take you on a beautiful ride.

Praise for DASH, now available here on Vinyl!

“earnest and confessional … a lively and eminently catchy marriage... organic singer/songwriter influences… electro pop pulse" -Under The Radar

    "A deeper maturity” -American Songwriter

"Their new album, Dash, is a refreshing melodic venture that offers depth with discerned intent rather than a pointlessly dissonant middle-eight." - Far Out Magazine

"an earnest quality to Munro’s songwriting and vocal delivery that oozes authenticity" - Performer Mag

"Laying down a grooving indie pop backdrop full of rhythmic brass arrangement with Dave Munro spinning melodic vocal leads, “20” sees a celebrated band at the top of their game." - Plastic Magazine

“20” is a pop rock track that hits hard in a nostalgic and introspective way." - Hot Lunch Music

"It’s not often that one gets to hear music from a band that seems about to hit the big times. But if Air Traffic Controller’s latest track “20” — and their 400,000 monthly listeners — is any indication, then this genre-defying group seems poised to become a household name very soon." - Glasse Factory

"Air Traffic Controller have served up a slice of pure genius with “20.”" - Up To Hear Music

"Smart and sharp, upbeat and spry, the rising Boston band’s sophisticated songcraft helps their excellent fifth LP land in a sweet spot between indie-pop, rock and folk." - Tinnitist

“20” is a breezy pop anthem, rooted in Munro’s unerring knack for catchy hooks and lived-in story-based lyricism paired with a lush arrangement featuring reverb-drenched guitar, funky horns and a dance floor friendly groove." - Joy of Violent Movement

"I was gobsmacked the first moment I heard ATC years ago, and am even more enthralled by them and what they're capable of doing with their sound." - Music Box Pete

While so much has changed, much has stayed the same when it comes to the quality of music and the creativity pouring out. (“20” is) a beautifully introspective reflection on the past. And while it keeps a storytelling structure that feels recognizably ATC, its catchy sound turns heads.-Nora Onanian, WERS

It was chapter one Mother’s favorite son calling home, let her know that I’m good, I can handle this but I was just a kid drove a piece of shit when I moved in with two other guys I was working with When we get off today we’re gonna celebrate go to sleep and repeat cause we all got bills to pay I was 20 I just believed big things gonna happen for me Kind of funny I’d rather dream out there in the middle of the street Quite an optimist when I thought of this I was telling myself it’ll all fall into place When I get out of here I’ll grab a big career get a house, a garage and a yard where the kids can play but like a tidal wave on a Crystal Lake couldn’t watch couldn’t run so I learned how the heart can break No feeling bad for me This ain’t a tragedy cause it is what it is what it was wasn’t meant to be I was 20 I just believed big things gonna happen for me Kind of funny I’d rather dream out there in the middle of the street I was 20 I was something else I was someone else I was 20 I was 20 I was something else I was someone else I was something else I was 20 I just believed big things gonna happen for me Kind of funny I’d rather dream out there in the middle of the street I was 20 I was something else I was someone else I was 20 I was 20

Sometimes 03:06
Sometimes the best thing you can do is not a damn thing Sometimes it's easier if you just let the phone ring I hope that time can heal the wounds and you know I never meant to hurt you I need to make it right but this is not a good time I know it sounds so selfish I wish that I could help it I'm not that kind of guy It's just that this is not… good times always outlive the bad if you just let them If you count all the things you never had you’ll never get them Grass always greener on that side You’ll never know unless you try I need to make it right but this is not a good time I know it sounds so selfish I wish that I could help it I'm not that kind of guy It's just that this is not a good time Sometimes the best thing you can do is not a damn thing Sometimes it's easier if you just let the phone ring I hope that time can heal the wounds you know I never meant to hurt you I need to make it right but this is not a good time I know it sounds so selfish I wish that I could help it I'm not that kind of guy She’s falling out of love Ain’t nothing I can do about it I’ve got to let her go but I don’t want to know how it feels to be alone it's just that this is not a good time No this is not a good time No this is not a good time No this is not a good time

Anybody got a light? The day to day the song remains the same We hope we pray we get back to the way it was We never really had a chance to say goodbye Just letting go and trying to hold your head up high Anybody got a light? Do me a favor would you shine it over here Like animals we’re scared of all that’s changing You’ll see this face when everything is safe again There’s nothing underneath you where you stand You’re upsidedown and dropping all the plans you made The wind has cleared a path but left you colder There’s something beautiful in starting over right? Anybody got a light? Do me a favor would you shine it this way I’m trying to find a reason to believe again Has anybody seen that part of me out there? They promised it won’t hurt a bit We’ll bounce back like we do We’re all backflipping forward toward the new They say your day to day’s about to change You hoped, you prayed we’d get back to the way it was By now somehow you found a way to say goodbye Just letting go and trying to hold that head up high Anybody got a light? Do me a favor would you shine it this way Anybody got a light? Do me a favor would you shine it over here Like animals we’re scared of all that’s changing You’ll see this face when everything is safe again I’m trying find a reason to believe Has anybody see that part of me? Anybody got a light?

Fool's Gold 04:22
I know it’s hard but it’s only temporary Sun coming up Gotta rise every day you know Still dreaming of a little house out on the prairie Still isn’t ours We’re a long long way from home but if I am gonna see it then I better believe it cause that’s the only thing I know Like a lock without a key I will never be complete Am I ever gonna find that gold? Got it right in front of me why am I diggin down so deep? It’s been right in front of me Why am I diggin down? I’m no fool I’m gonna find that gold I better find that gold You were born with a fire in your belly and you were gone when you were old enough to leave Gotta find you a life less ordinary out in the mines there’s a fortune yours to keep but if I am gonna see it then I better believe it cause that’s the only thing I know Just a silent melody and I’ll never be complete Am I ever gonna find that gold? Got it right in front of me Why am I diggin down so deep? It’s been right in front of me Why am I diggin down? I’m no fool I’m gonna find that gold I better find that gold It’s getting dark and we can’t control the laughing Give me a hug and I’ll sing you off to sleep I never thought it was something everlasting or forgot how to keep you close to me Got it right in front of me Why am I diggin down so deep? It’s been right in front of me Why am I diggin down? I… Got it right in front of me Why am I diggin down so deep? It’s been right in front of me Why am I diggin down? I… Got it right in front of me Why am I diggin down so deep? It’s been right in front of me Why am I diggin down? I’m no fool Got it right in front of me Why am I diggin down so deep? It’s been right in front of me Why am I diggin down? I’m no fool I’m no fool I’m no fool I’m gonna find that gold I better find that gold

I’ve been workin’ on Jimmy’s Song for way too long yeah it was promised to him years ago Married his daughter I could do no wrong but still the pressure’s on and he will ask me every week or so Where are you going son? What’ve you been working on? I’ve got some ideas I think you would like Grab me a pen and paper Let’s see what I can shake up I heard your story Boy let’s sing about mine Did you think I would give up? You done lost your mind I still got some time I still got some Shu gah gah do gah do gah do dooka do I joined the Army after college, son yeah that’s the way it’s done cause every Officer deserves a salute and when my plane went down in Vietnam all I could say was damn cause no one ever gave me a parachute I sat there trapped inside My seatbelt was too tight Sank to the bottom thinking this is how I go Wiggled myself around a bit Somehow I swam on out of it I got to live to be this many years old Did you think I would give up? You done lost your mind I still got some time I still got some If you’re just about to give up give it one more try You might be surprised You still got some Wooo You still got some Wooo I’ve been workin’ on Jimmy’s song Wooo You still got some Wooo Not every Veteran got a welcome home My favorite boots got stolen My own father sold my Volkswagen Bug but I met a woman with a heart of gold She could’ve had Tom Jones but all she gave him was a kiss and a hug Swore I’d love her to the moon and back 40 years on the cul de sac Stroke, cancer and the heart attack It was lookin bad I was build to last you know Grandchildren smiling up at me Truth is that’s all I ever need One day they’ll hear this and they’ll do what they’re told Shu gah gah do gah do gah do dooka do Did you think I would give up? This Hell 03:11
Last straw done broke the camel’s back They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice, but look at that Your life for the taking This nightmare you’re not waking from Think back to what your mother said She doesn’t always say the right thing but the right thing’s in your head You’re finally breaking Decisions are not making sense Anything is possible even the impossible I know you’ve been cursed but this can be reversed After everything you lost every penny that it cost you It doesn’t get much worse but you wouldn’t be the first to survive this kind of hell If I know you well, you will survive this hell, you will Another day has gone to waste The finest of doctors can’t treat this case These symptoms are killing These buildings are named after saints Hallway illuminates the door You exit, the floor isn’t cold no more The chorus is sounding The love is surrounding you now Anything is possible even the impossible I know you’ve been cursed but that can be reversed After everything you lost every penny that it cost you it doesn’t get much worse but you wouldn’t be the first to survive this kind of hell If I know you well, you will survive this hell, you will Rock bottom is an awful place I can see it in your face taking over every space in your body but it’s not too late Rock bottom is an awful place I can see it in your face taking over every space in your body but it’s not too late it doesn’t get much worse but you wouldn’t be the first to survive this kind of hell If I know you well, you will survive this hell, you will You will survive this hell, you will

Living Room 03:50
I’m back home We’re hanging in the living room Our feet up on the couch alone at last and it feels good When I’m gone I wonder what’s going on in this room without me in this house, this neighborhood I found a picture of you and me before we met You were dancing I was standing on my head but if you asked me then where I’d be now could I have told you I’d be in your house If you asked me anything at all would I have fallen? Fallen… out on Lansdowne Street my brother and his bride asked me to come out to the show they had some extra tickets and when you showed up I really didn’t say that much I was living with my girlfriend yes I should have mentioned that Later on our way down the subway station steps Taking different lines we just waved goodbye and left but if I asked you then where you’d be now could you have told me you’d be in this house If I asked you anything at all would you have fallen? Fallen… Fallen… hard I know Love is like a rabbit hole Spend an awful lot of time just trying to find our way back here Right where we are just hanging in the living room our feet up on the couch alone at last and it feels… yeah it feels good If you asked me then where I’d be now If I asked you then where you’d be now would you have fallen? Fallen… would I have fallen? Fallen…

EZbreezy 03:51
EZbreezy in the backseat Tag along for the day Don’t care what we do or what they say Getting older every minute Not a minute to waste Tick tock don’t talk, don’t talk it away Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? I’m just wandering at night time How did I get to your heart? Flashback to the shack, that’s where started We never had to be serious So get out of your head Don’t get complex, just go with it What if we catch a little sickness Take a turn for the worst Don’t you think we oughta to celebrate each other first Fill it up with second guesses you’ll never finish a thing All i really ever wanted was to hear you sing Keep it EZbreezy Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? 2.. 3 Hey just breathe 3, 4 Hey just breathe Breathe in breathe out Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? Is it cool with you if we keep it keep it EZbreezy? Is it cool with you? Is it cool with you?

How Are You? 03:33
“How are you?” Am I just another passerby Every morning, at this time Well there’s an answer but it looks like you’re about to cry In a whisper “I’m fine.” You don’t look at me like used to I have no idea what you’re going through It ain’t rainbows, it ain’t sunshine What’s your problem Please make it mine Every time you're giving me that "I'm alright" It’s like you’re only saying it to be polite I'll do anything to have you in my arms tonight Tell me how you really feel “How are you?” Are you asking with your back to me Like you owe me, like you’re trying Well I’ve been waiting Buckled up for a catastrophe and I’m ready for the ride You don’t look at me like you used to I have no idea what you’re going through No it ain’t rainbows, it ain’t sunshine Tell me the problem and please make it mine Every time you're giving me that "I'm alright" It’s like you’re only saying it to be polite I'll do anything to have you in my arms tonight Tell me how you really feel Every time you're giving me that "I'm alright" It’s like you’re only saying it to be polite I'll do anything to have you in my arms tonight Tell me how you really feel Silence can be a dangerous thing cause if I don’t how you’re doing well then I don’t know what to do and baby that silence can ruin everything Where did we lose communication? Can you even hear me sing? Sing it now Every time you're giving me that "I'm alright" It’s like you’re only saying it to be polite I'll do anything to have you in my arms tonight Tell me how you really feel Every time you're giving me that "I'm alright" It’s like you’re only saying it to be polite I'll do anything to have you in my arms tonight Tell me how you really feel Tell me how you really feel Tell me how you really feel Tell me how you really feel Tell me how you really feel

100% 03:20
Someone’s cryin’ I’d be lying if I told you this was cake but we don’t need that bellyaching, no cause we’ll be thanking our lucky stars we made it through another day Let’s batten down the hatches right away No one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry Everything works out 100% of the time Hold on tight love We’ll be all right if you just have a little faith in you, in me, in something greater Have we ever not survived the weather? Most of us wake up Tomorrow we can fix the place up No one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry Everything works out 100% of the time Yeah no one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry Everything works out 100% of the time Light a candle Don’t fly off the handle cause when it rains it pours You will get wet Go ahead now be upset now cause that makes sense but don’t forget There’s a time for stomping on the floor and letting off some steam and saying things that you don’t mean No one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry cause everything works out 100% of the time Yeah no one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry Everything works out 100% of the time No one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry Everything works out 100% of the time Yeah no one wants to hear you scream No one wants to hear you cry Everything works out 100% of the time Everything works out Everything works out 100% of the time

Walk 03:12
Well you should've heard me by now Solved the mystery of how to tie me down Instead all you do is talk talk talk talk All you do is talk Maybe I should walk I know you think you've done your time and I don’t have the right to change my mind but I’ve been giving it some thought thought thought thought giving it some thought Oh the deadlines and the guilt trips These are hard times but we've been through this God you know I love you babe but don't you ever threaten me cause baby I could walk Baby I could walk Oh and you're tired of feeling rejected This isn't what you expected Maybe we both had our doubts Remember when everything changed and I fell flat on my face It's nothing I can erase but I can get my own place and try to figure this out. That's right. The deadlines and the guilt trips These are hard times but this is bullshit God you know I love you babe but don't you ever threaten me cause baby I could walk Baby I could walk Do do do do do Do do do do Do do do do Do do do do Do do do do Do do do do Do do do do Baby I could walk Baby I could walk Baby I could walk Baby I could walk Oh baby I could walk Oh baby I could walk Oh baby I could walk Oh baby I could walk Do do do do Do do do do Do do do do Do do do do
